April 29th. This motto written on the first cover of a notebook is the first thing that I read this morning when I sat with the team in the coffee shop next to Adra’s office. The notebook is Sava’s, one of the project managers. And what I learned by following her on her activities with schools is that it fits her perfectly.

Vojsava Firi is currently driving projects promoting children empowerment in Kruja regions. In a country where 27% of the population is less than 19 years old , inequalities in child development are high and vary widely by region, ethnicity, and economic disparities, to name a few. Even if Albanian legislation ensures equal treatment and protection, some communities are still socially, economically and politically stigmatized and excluded from decision making.
