Children should grow in a proper and secure place, not in the street
More than 700 children are working in the streets of Tirana to support themselves and their families. Many of them are exploited as beggar or as informal workers, depriving them for living a healthy childhood.
Being part of the society and being a responsible person we should not be silence about child labour.
On 19th of September the Ministry of Social Welfare and Youth, Ministry of Internal Affairs, National Social Service and Albanian Civil Society continued the initiative that started on 12 June 2014 for protecting street children, in order to achieve family empowerment.
Since the beginning ADRA Albania has joined this initiative to share information and sensitize the public opinion in Tirana about exploitation of children.
